This morning before school while kids were eating breakfast:
Me: Kyra, let's go over your spelling words, spell bell for me.
Niko: B-E-L-L!
The kid can spell most of his sister's second grade spelling words. Now only if he could get through one night without peeing the bed...
Isn't it great the stuff they pick up while you're pounding it into the older one's head? Will (at 4) can spell a few words too. The other night we were going over Math-facts.
Me: Maggie, what's 4+5?
Maggie:
Will: NINE!!!
