As I was getting ready to leave for yoga class this evening, Jeremy mentioned he was going to run to the store and asked me if there was anything I needed.
"Hmmm.................nothing I can think of..............Oh! Oh yes! TAMPONS."
"Seriously?" he asked shyly, making a face that said: I'll get them if you absolutely need them, but oh my god do I have to?
"Nah," I laughed. "Don't worry about it. I'll get some tomorrow."
And so that was that. I went off to yoga and forgot all about it.
Tonight when I came home, I headed upstairs to take a quick shower, and there, sitting on the bathroom counter was a brand new big, square, blue Tampax Multipack box. 18 Super, 18 Regular and 6 Lites/Juniors. Just how I like em'.
Most men wouldn't even touch a box of tampons for fear that their genitals might shrivel up and get sucked inside them and their breasts would begin to drip milk - but not my Jeremy.
I'm SO GLAD I didn't choose to stick with one of those other jerks I encountered in my young and foolish pre-Jeremy years. No, I chose a fella to marry who buys me tampons. He's a keeper he is.
I've fallen in love with your husband in the past with things you've written about him, but this one is the best by far. Love that man and hold him tight!

What a good hubby! Brent is good about buying them now. When we first got married, he wouldn't even walk down that aisle with me. Now he says his testicles have already shrivled up and been drawn into his body like venetian blinds, so why not pick up some Tampax and pantyliners while he's out?

I think my hubby would agree with Kate. LOL.
Jeremy is a good one, and even after you half-ass attempted to act like you weren't disappointed that he didn't WANT to go and get you the tampons... hehehe I know the guilt trip when I see it!

Awwwww. Charles did buy some pads when I was post-partum but that has been it. I do think he'd buy them if asked but I also know he'd prefer not to. Maybe I'll save up that request for sometime special.

Not only did he buy them, but he knew what KIND to buy? Give him a smooch for me.

Men who buy tampons and the women who love them: Next time on Oprah!

VERY IMPRESSIVE! I recently asked my husband to buy me some, even ripped off the boxtop so he'd know EXACTLY what to buy......and he bought PADS! Your husband gets you the freakin' multipack and mine gets me PADS! Unfair! He insisted it was right (some words we're correct--Kotex, Security, etc., just lacked the word TAMPONS); I said, "It's not, but it will have to do." In other words, I'll buy the correct items tomorrow MYSELF, while today I'll have to use the "diapers" you bought!! So, for lack of a better compliment, YOUR HUSBAND ROCKS!

There are some good men left in this world, seems you got one of them! I would say, yea, his mama raised him right!

It's so cute when you appreciate tampons more than flowers. Nothing says I love you like a silky cover with extra absorbancy.

Hmmm. I think that would require my husband to actually GO to the store...
