My name is Gerah (sounds like Sarah with a J).

I'm mother to a smart and fabulous lil' daughter named Kyra, charming, feisty son Nikolai, and wife to hunky computer nerd Jeremy.

I tend to be way too honest and talk about things like poop frequently. When you have a young child, poop is everywhere. I write it how it is.

I take life day by day, and have the habit of occasionally extracting thoughts and notes from my brain about my cool little kids, (and many other topics!) then put those thoughts and notes down here on this blog. I wish I could explain why I feel the need write personal things on the internet - frankly, I can't explain it! - I just love the idea of writing about life today so that my children or grandchildren might some day go back and read about what we were thinking and doing. Plus, as a mom talking about mommy issues, I find feedback from readers very helpful, and writing about it therapeutic.

I apologize in advance to if I say something that offends you or if I use a word you might not approve of. I tend to do those things sometimes! Not trying to win any mother of the year awards here...
